History & Symbolism:The crescent symbolism was very popular throughout historyand the Victorians were especially fond of the symbolism and hidden meanings behind certain motifs. The crescent or moon represents the ebb and flow of life, the light in the darkness, the feminine energy of the moon goddess and female empowerment. Theromantic Victorians were very taken with thenight sky and the heavens -stars, moons and comets were all the rage.

Measurements:The crescent is just over 1 1/4" tall, includingbale, and 1" wide. It features approximately 2.25ct total weight in diamonds.
